我这次回英国是因为中国现在有新的外籍劳动政策。虽然我在中国9年，但还是需要回英国公证我的学历证。这个有点儿麻烦但是没办法。英国有几个大使馆，伦敦，曼切斯特，和爱丁堡。问题是这些地方的营业时间只有早上9点到12点。为了保证不会迟到我决定在曼切斯特住一晚上，但是火车票好贵。我妈建议我看一下去利物浦的火车票多少钱，在利物浦住一晚然后从利物浦去曼切斯特。竟然便宜一点儿，所以我就买了票。我没去过利物浦。其实我去过一次，但我那个时候特别小，什么都不记得。
I flew back to Britain because of a new labour policy in China. Even though I’ve worked in China for 9 years, I had to return to England to verify my degree. Britain has 3 Chinese embassies, in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. The problem is that these places are only open from 9am until 12pm. In order to guarantee that I wouldn’t be late, I decided to live in Manchester for a night but the train ticket was really expensive. My mom suggested I check the ticket prices to Liverpool, and stay there for a night; and then the next morning go to Manchester. Unbelievably, that worked out cheaper so I booked a ticket. I’ve never been to Liverpool before. Actually, I have been before, but I was so young I can’t remember anything about it.
这次我定了比较有意思的酒店，那个酒店曾经是监狱！我拍了几个小视频，今天我发第一集，你们可以看一下利物浦的中餐。错，错，错，不是中餐，是传统利物浦的菜，但是看起来像中餐，味道也很像中餐的味道。我总是觉得中国人批评英餐时有点儿没有道理，因为中国人肯定会喜欢很多英国的菜。比如说，我们腐国人都爱吃血，但我每次提到这个都有很多人留言说不知道英国人吃血。好像英国有很多你们不知道的。好吧，我慢慢告诉你们，这次我想先给你们看一下利物浦怎么样。希望你们都喜欢。
I booked an interesting hotel in Liverpool that used to be a prison. When I was there I filmed some videos and today I’m posting the first of those videos where you can check out Liverpool’s Chinese food. Hold on, no you can’t, it’s not Chinese food, it’s traditional Liverpudlian food. But it looks just like Chinese food, and tastes like Chinese food too. I always think it’s weird when Chinese people criticize British food, because we have lots of things that you don’t know about that you would really like. For instance, British people love black pudding (pig’s blood), but whenever I mention this, lots of people leave messages saying that they didn’t know British people eat blood. Anyway, I won’t say anymore about this, I want to show you what Liverpool is like. Enjoy.
